Connecticut probably isn't on the top of everyone's "must sees" vacation list BUT this place is unbelievable. It is a resort that is comprised of 19 cottages each with its own theme in impeccable taste.
Check out Winvan in Litchfield Hills, CT.There is a Helicopter Cottage (yes, with a real helicopter that you sleep in inside it), a TreeHouse, a Cave, a Stable, A golf cottage, a Forest cottage....so many, so beautifully done.
